These terms describe the current prelaunch version of Intentionally for YouTube. They will be reviewed before public release.

What it does

Intentionally is a browser extension that changes parts of the YouTube interface to help you choose what to watch. It may show an intention screen, hide recommendations and Shorts, and interrupt autoplay. You can remove the extension through Chrome at any time.

Third party service

Intentionally is an independent project. It is not made by, endorsed by, or affiliated with YouTube or Google. YouTube and the Chrome Web Store have their own terms and policies, which also apply when you use those services.

Availability

The extension depends on YouTube’s interface and Chrome’s extension platform. If either changes, some features may stop working until the extension is updated. Features and availability may change as the project develops.

Use and responsibility

Use Intentionally in accordance with applicable law and the terms of the services you visit. The extension is offered as a tool to support your own viewing choices; it cannot guarantee changes in your habits or time spent online.
