Privacy

Intentionally works in your browser to change the YouTube page you see. The extension does not send your viewing activity or searches to us.

What the extension accesses

The extension runs on www.youtube.com. It checks the current YouTube URL and the state of the video player to decide when to show its question screen, hide recommendations and Shorts, and stop autoplay. This processing happens in your browser.

When you enter a video, channel, or topic and submit it, your browser opens a YouTube search URL containing that phrase. YouTube then receives and handles that search under its own policies.

What we collect

The current extension has no account, analytics, saved watch history, or persistent storage. It does not transmit your search phrase, viewing activity, or page content to an Intentionally server. It does not sell or share that information for advertising.

This website

This website contains no analytics script, advertising tracker, account form, or cookie set by Intentionally. It loads its artwork and font from this site. A hosting provider may retain ordinary server request logs; hosting details will be added before public launch.

Links to YouTube, the Chrome Web Store, and the article that inspired this project lead to other services. Their own privacy practices apply when you visit them.

Changes

If the extension’s data handling changes, this page and the Chrome Web Store disclosures will be updated to match the released version.
